Fr. John Brunsmann’s work was freely adapted and edited by Arthur Preuss for English readers. This Manualist Press edition was newly typeset and proofread from the 1929 B. Herder edition and preserves the scholarly apparatus.

The Kindle edition contains Volumes I and II together; paperback and hardcover are issued per volume. Volume I covers the general introduction and natural religion.

Johann Brunsmann (born 1870) was a Catholic theologian and a member of the Society of the Divine Word. His Handbook of Fundamental Theology was adapted and edited in English by Arthur Preuss and published by B. Herder in 1928 and 1929.
