Boucicaut Master, The Visitation, leaf from a book of hours, about 1415. Cleveland Museum of Art.
My God, I offer thee my heart, and most fervently beg of thee to take possession of my whole being. It is for thy love, O divine Jesus, that I now rise. Deign to accept of every thought, word, and action of this day; give them a blessing; preserve me from sin, and grant me the graces necessary to merit eternal life.
