O holy Father, St. Francis, thou perfect image of our Crucified Savior, who by thy meditation on the sufferings of Jesus, thy singular devotion to the Blessed Sacrament, and thy love for Mary, the Queen of Angels, didst fill thy Seraphic heart not only with most ardent love for God, but also with the greatest desire to convert and save the poor sinners, help us by thy powerful intercession to imitate thy holy example, often to meditate on the bitter Passion of Christ, to foster a special love for Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, and His dear mother, Mary Immaculate, and thus to be able with thy fatherly help to save many a poor Dying Sinner for all eternity. Amen.
